Unfortunately my roommates’ cat isn’t feeling so well in his old age, and as we all know, vet bills can easily overwhelm the typical college budget. If you’re curious, my roommates have elaborated here and here.

I’d love to help however I can, so! I’m jumping on the commission bandwagon!

All of the following are for 1 character, with a simple, spot background, at 300 dpi. Each additional character is +$5.

EDIT: When I take commissions I ask for 25% payment of the total commission price at the start of the agreement as a deposit, and ask for the other 75% once the commission is completed for you to receive the high-res image. If something drastic comes up and I cannot do your commission, this 25% deposit is completely refundable.

ART COMMISSIONS FOR ZIPPA!

This is Zippa, my gentleman kittyfriend. Zippa is 15 years old, and has been around since I was a young’un. Zippa has been a tremendous source of comfort for me growing up, and continues to be as I begin to navigate through adulthood.

But recently, Zippa began to rapidly lose weight, and has almost stopped eating food completely. He’s also recently been suffering from strange seizures that involve collapsing and shaking uncontrollably. I have accepted the fact that as cats get older, they might have some health issues, but I grew more and more confused and desperate as my sweet Zippa continued to turn away food for no apparent reason (and this cat used to have an appetite like you wouldn’t believe).

I finally broke down and took him to the nearby animal hospital, because we feared it might have been a dental issue. The vet found no mouth or dental trouble, but was stumped over his other symptoms, and ended up taking a blood test. Zippa was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, and will be on medication probably for the rest of his life.

I’m glad that we finally have some answers and some means to take care of him. Hopefully he will begin to eat some more and at least be comfortable. But the vet bill is a bit staggering, and I can’t afford his check-ups, treatment and rent at the same time, let alone food money and other living expenses. Right now his treatment is $276.75…which is a small price to pay for his friendship, but unfortunately a large price for my college budget.

SO! On a lighter note, I’M OPENING UP COMMISSIONS TO HELP PAY FOR MY KITTY’S WELL-BEING! :D
